Hi guys, since obviously Minecraft Club isn’t running at the moment, I’m going to suggest a series of challenges each week to play if you have access to Minecraft at home. The first one is a farm challenge which is one of my favourite things to do on Minecraft.
RULES:
- Play this on survival mode. A big part of the challenge is gathering and making resources.
- Think about how you could make the farm sustainable- are your crops going to last? Can you breed animals so that you can use them for food? What recipes can you make with the food you are producing?
- Be creative with it. You don’t need to stick to the traditional crops and animals in pens and think about how you can make it more interesting. I often dye my sheep rainbow colours!

EXTRA CHALLENGE (for Years 10 and 11): Try to identify what is a primary processing, secondary processing and tertiary processing. Think of Food and Geography lessons!! (And if you manage to identify them, keep a note of it and let me know when school goes back!)
Some ideas! Crops and animals…

Farmhouse! You could build it out of wood or stone.

Animals- as many and varied as you can!

Have fun! And share your farms with friends. If you’re in any of my clubs, take a photo of your farm (or any other Minecraft challenges) and we can compare once school goes back 🙂
